About Us
Our Story
B. Anderson's was birthed from multiple generations of talented women that enjoy bringing folks together to share life over a meal. Our restaurant, operating under the parent company Bayside International, LLC, was established in April 2017. We are located in Frederick County Maryland, and are proud to serve our community and surrounding regions.
Where did it start? With family. Juoaquina "Chef Q" Latty cooks up soul food according to the recipes handed down to her from her grandmother. The Jamaican influence in the menu comes from Chef Q's husband, and the restaurant is named for her mother, Beverley Anderson. Chef Q is a first-class accredited chef who spent much of her career with The National Center for Children & Families and other community organizations to provide food to people in shelters and military families. Now, encouraged by her family (and often joined by them in the restaurant), Chef Q serves up her renowned dishes to the growing B. Anderson family in Brunswick, MD and beyond!

We love to see our dining room filled with smiling faces enjoying our lovingly prepared meals. But even when we can't, we ensure that you've got something delicious to enjoy at home! And we'd love to bring this same joy to your events, so contact us to ask about our custom catering orders!

We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. That's why we source our fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets whenever possible. No matter what time of year, you can be sure you're eating the best of the season.
